Residential Mural

The owner of this home wanted to create more color and visual interest in their front entry.  The project developed into a painted window scene in the inset area, trompe l'oeil stone around the window, and a blue sky with clouds on the ceiling. The client envisioned the central painted window with a cafe in the foreground and vineyard in the background.  The office across from this hallway has a nautical theme, so the client asked if there could be some tie in to that, which resulted in the lake and sailboat in the background.   For a truly personalized touch, the family dog was painted in lower right foreground.
