The Restaurant let me fill the inside and outside walls with horse murals.

Why the horses?

"I (Amber-restaurant owner) have always had a soft spot for animals and a love of horses. After I got out of the military I rescued my first horse and found a passion in helping abused and neglected equines. One of the special horses that will always have a place in my heart is Zinnia. Zinnia is our namesake Palomino We unfortunately lost her to colic about 2 years ago, but the time she was with me and her sweet, kind and gentle personality are unforgettable. So I named my restaurant "The Palomino" in her memory and I will be donating a portion of all of our profits to local horse rescues that are rescuing horses like Zinnia and giving them a 2nd chance." -Amber Kurkowski
